There are a lot of reasons to love New Year’s Eve – people are happy, champagne’s involved and there are tons of sparkly dresses and accessories. NYE is a time where over-the-top is not only accepted, but expected. Here are some of my favorite NYE picks that live up to the most glittery standards.
1. Calypso Nannie Sequin Knit Maxi ($750): Stand out in a crowd of short and tight dresses with this gorgeous sparkly number. It just oozes glamour.
2. For Auld Lang Syne letterpress card ($6): Send 2013 wishes via a beautiful letterpress card.
3. Tissue Paper Tassel Garland ($35): This garland (which comes in many other color combinations) is the perfect decor element for your NYC get together (great for above the bar area).
4. Pim + Larkin Sequin Midi Dress ($74.99): A flattering, classy dress at an affordable price point. Plus the navy is a nice color alternative.
5. Sephora + Pantone Universe Opulent Lacquer Trio ($18): A great way to accessorize your NYC outfit. Use one color or all three for a fun take on a manicure.
6. Chanel Poudre Signee de Chanel ($68): Use this soft pink highlighting powder to accent your cheekbones (perfect for when you lean in for the midnight kiss!)
7. Zara Oro Viegjo gold flatware ($4.90 – $6.90): Gold flatware will elevate any tablescape. And maybe make everything that comes in contact with it taste better (this could just be me rationalizing another flatware set).
